✨ 1. What do I believe the “perfect” body will give me?

We’re often taught that having the “perfect” body will fix everything—make us happier, more accepted, more lovable. But will it really? This question helps you explore what you’re hoping to gain, so you can begin to rewrite those beliefs with more truth, self-trust, and compassion.

✨ 2. What have I missed out in life on by shaming my body?

How many photos, pool days, opportunities, or full-belly laughs have you put on hold because you were too focused on changing ourselves first? This question invites you to start living now, not “when” or “if.”

✨ 3. Would I judge someone else’s body the way I judge mine?

Imagine looking at your best friend or daughter and critiquing them the way you do yourself. You wouldn’t. So why is it okay to treat yourself that way? Let that compassion you extend to others make its way back to you.

✨ 4. Is chasing the idea of a perfect body bringing me closer to joy or just resentment?

Sometimes we confuse discipline with self-worth. But when the pursuit of a “better” body is rooted in shame, it often leads to burnout and quiet resentment—toward our bodies and ourselves. Check in: are you moving from love or from lack?

What if instead of picking yourself apart, you practiced body neutrality—or even celebration? Respect doesn’t mean loving every inch every day—it means deciding that your body is not a problem to be fixed.

…because let’s be real: we’ve lived our lives absorbing messages about what beauty ‘should’ look like — narrow, unrealistic, and rooted in systems designed to profit off our insecurities.

Lie #1: Beauty has a size.

We’ve been fed the idea that smaller is better, “healthier” and that thinness = beauty — when in reality, bodies are meant to come in all shapes and sizes.

There is no one-size-fits-all standard for beauty. Your worth isn’t measured by a number on a scale.

Lie #2: Beauty is flawless appearances.

Glass skin, straight hair, no wrinkles, no stretch marks. That’s not real life — that’s Photoshop. The truth? Real beauty lives in your authenticity of self. Skin has texture. Bodies have stories. Aging is natural. You don’t need to be filtered to be beautiful.

Lie #3: Beauty is external.

We’re conditioned to obsess over our appearance, yet ignore how we feel within ourselves. True beauty is rooted in self-respect, confidence, and the way you show up in the world — not just what your outter appearance looks like.

Lie #4: You have to earn beauty.

Through diets, workouts, products, and procedures, like we have to constantly chase or buy our way into worthiness. But beauty isn’t a prize for effort, you don’t have to earn beauty.

You already are.

Lie #5: There’s one standard of beauty.

Mainstream beauty ideals have historically excluded so many, especially black, brown, fat, disabled, trans, and aging bodies. But beauty is diverse. Expansive. Cultural. And every Body deserves to be seen and celebrated.

It’s time we rewrite the rules — or better yet, throw them out completely!

Beauty is not about shrinking, fixing, or fitting in. It’s about showing up, taking up space, and owning who you are from the inside out.

You are already enough — in your now-body, with your now-face, in your now-life. ❤️

And you believe them!

This generation deserves better than “thin is in.”

The skinny epidemic is back rebranded and repackaged, disguised as “wellness,” sold as self-improvement.

Just like the '90s, we’re being told to shrink, sculpt, and suffer in the name of beauty.

They’ve found new ways to convince you there’s something wrong with you—
so they can sell you the “fix.”

✖️ Ozempic
✖️ Cleanses and toxic trends

It’s not self-care, it’s shame.
It’s not empowerment if it’s rooted in control.

This is an industry built on body insecurity—and it’s thriving.

If I had to start my modeling career over, here’s what I would do differently:

I would toss the idea that I had to “accomplish” the perfect diet and weight in order to be successful.

I would remind myself that the finish line will always keep moving and that my worth won’t be tied to a number forever.

I would start writing ‘Dear Body’ letters on Day 1.

The reason I share my story to you is because I hope that I can inspire, even just one of you, to start loving your body from the inside out, instead of the outside in.
