No two-body journeys are the same.
Some of us have grown up feeling like our bodies were never quite right. Too big, too small, too different. Some of us have experienced changes—through age, motherhood, illness, recovery—that made us feel like we lost control. Others have spent years chasing an “ideal” that was never meant to include us in the first place.

And yet—every single journey is worthy.

Because our bodies are not problems to fix. They are living, breathing reflections of our experiences.

Because worth isn’t earned by shrinking, smoothing, or perfecting.
You are enough as you are.

Because beauty isn’t one size fits all. It is diverse, evolving, and individual.

During the Month of Women’s History, we hope to enocurage every Body to unlearn the belief that our value is tied to how we look.

You are not here to be as small as possible—you’re here to take up space, be bold, and be loud!

Your body was not made to fit into limiting standards.

—We don’t naturally have a young girl’s waist as grown women—you know that, right?

Nature designed our bodies to curve, adapt, and change throughout life.

If you find yourself watching these trends and thinking, Why don’t I look like that?—I challenge you to ask yourself,

Why would I want to?
Your value is not measured by the size of your waist but by the beauty that comes from within.

I thought I needed perfection to be beautiful, but it turns out I needed anything but...

Beauty ideals have instilled copious amounts of perfectionism into women for centuries. There is a constant flux in beauty trends from decade to decade, keeping us in a cycle of self-critism with an inability keep up.

It’s why we feel shame for undergoing normal changes in our bodies.

It’s why so many of us struggle with not feeling ‘pretty’ enough, ‘skinny’ enough, or ‘good’ enough –suppressed by a system that is meant to make us look at ourselves negatively.

But here’s the truth: Perfection isn’t reality, and your worth was never meant to be measured by your appearance, a number on a scale, or someone’s opinion of you.

This Women’s History Month, let’s rewrite the narrative:

✨ Challenge the systems that profit from our insecurities

✨ Speak up against unrealistic beauty expectations

✨ Embrace bodies as they are—worthy, strong, and enough

1. I work everyday at refusing to see my changing body as something to “fix.”

2. I have a neurodivergent brain—I own it, and honestly, I think it’s awesome!

3. I am still learning to live on my own terms, free from societal ‘shoulds.’

4. I’d rather prioritize peace over approval –I accept that I’m not for everyone.

5. I say no without over-explaining myself.

6. I’m still learning that I don’t need to apologize for burdens that aren’t mine to carry.

7. I’ve learned to invest my energy where I’m valued, rather than over-caretaking to prove my worth, time and time again.

8. I distance myself from environments and people that don’t align with my energy.

9. I take extra time to heal and avoid rushing to keep up with others regardless of the external pressures society tries to place on me.

10. I remind myself that its okay to skip workouts when my body needs rest, without guilt, this takes work to uncondition from what I’ve been taught.

11. I rest and nap without labeling it as “lazy.”

12. I sometimes struggle with maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

13. I work on managing anxiety, depression, and burnout in my daily life.

It’s amazing how many doors open when you embark on the journey of healing your relationship with yourself.

Remind yourself that you, your body, and your beauty are worthy—just as you are.

For centuries, women have been taught to stay small –this has left little room to discover our full potential, often leading us to question ourselves—our bodies, our skills, and the importance of our voices.

The most important relationship you will ever have is the one with yourself. Approach yourself with the time, attention, grace and kindness that it deserves.

I walked into my office this morning seeing this image, thinking, “wow —if that isn’t a symbol of transformation!”

Once, this tape was a tool others controlled me with as a young model. I’d walk into the agency, heart racing, terrified by the thought: “Will they measure me today? If they do, will they have the decency to do it behind closed doors?”

I still hold onto this measuring tape, the one that never seemed to measure up to the impossible standards set before me and the ones I quickly embodied.

But now, I’m redefining its purpose—using it to measure the sizes of our products, the dimensions of the lines in our journals, and the right pouch for our sticker bundles.

It feels liberating.

Maybe one day I’ll throw it away.

Letting those old memories fade even further into the background. For now, though, I will cherish the art of creating something that challenges the pressure to fit into boxes that no longer serve us.

I walked into my office this morning seeing this image, thinking, “wow —if that isn’t a symbol of transformation!”

Once, this tape was a tool others controlled me with as a young model. I’d walk into the agency, heart racing, terrified by the thought: “Will they measure me today? If they do, will they have the decency to do it behind closed doors?”

I still hold onto this measuring tape, the one that never seemed to measure up to the impossible standards set before me and the ones I quickly embodied.

But now, I’m redefining its purpose—using it to measure the sizes of our products, the dimensions of the lines in our journals, and the right pouch for our sticker bundles.

It feels liberating.

Maybe one day I’ll throw it away.

Letting those old memories fade even further into the background. For now, though, I will cherish the art of creating something that challenges the pressure to fit into boxes that no longer serve us.

Don’t forget that you are human—and that means even the imperfect parts of you are perfect.

Your body does so much for you, and you deserve to celebrate every detail, even the ones you’ve been taught to hide.

The sweat you wipe away, the blemishes you cover, the insecurities you keep quiet.

In Western society, we’ve been conditioned to idolize a narrow definition of beauty—thin, white, and flawless.

This fosters shame around anything that falls outside those rigid ideals. But the truth is, our bodies are meant to be lived in, not perfected.

We sweat, our nails break, our hair grows in different ways, and our skin comes in beautifully diverse shades.

Our differences are not flaws; they are part of our story. They make us unique, and that uniqueness is what makes us beautiful.

Embracing our bodies as they are isn’t just about self-acceptance—it’s about protecting our mental health and breaking free from the pressures that tell us we need to be anything other than ourselves. ❤️
